LIVING HUES FOR PEPPERFRY
'Living Hues' was first of its kind art installation and workshop event for Pepperfry Studios. Aim was to reconnect with local earth materials and celebrate our coexistence with nature. TCW designed and developed handmade eco-printed installations for two prime stores in Bangalore to gee up the pan India World Environment Day Campaign 2018.
Both eco-printed installations - 'The Tree of Wisdom'; and 'Poetic Gardens of Bengaluru', were created using fallen leaves, seasonal flowers, fruits and vegetables. They essentially aimed at allowing viewers to realize ways in which the concept of circular economy can be seamlessly accommodated in our daily activities, and to further stimulate rationalizing our everyday pursuits.
An immersive two hour workshop, involved activities and discussions around sustainable living practices, material-experience walk through, collective earth poetry writing and solar jar dyeing. This workshop propelled a sense of cognizance about the importance of conscious living and zero waste lifestyles.
Ideas around waste segregation, retaining or repurposing aged products to extend its lives, refusing to buy non-durable products and questioning brands about conscious lines were some of the central takeaways from the two day event.
